Hourly Software Rate
Kings will not install any software that is not legally owned by the customer. In the event of data loss the customer will be responsible for providing any software and configuration information necessary to re-install the software.
Kings will always try to notify a customer before software is lost, however King's does assume that the customer has the necessary original disks or backup copies of original disks. and a current backup of any additional data.
Rate - Software
Software will be priced at 1 HR min of $60 with a $15 charge for each additional quarter HR or portion of a quarter. Time waiting for tests to run or disks to format will generally not be counted as billable time. If additional problems show up as a result of changes of configuration of the hardware, or setup of the software, the time needed to remedy these problems will be billable.
While every attempt will be made to solve a software problem, Kings does not guarantee that the software will operate as expected by the customer.
Software has NO warranty. Kings assumes NO responsibility for any loss of data, or any other loss caused directly or indirectly by the software, even if the loss is caused by gross negligence on the part of kings or one of its representatives. Because of the transient nature of software the customer assumes all responsibility for insuring that the software is operating as expected.
The customer will always be held responsable for any data loss caused by lack of a current system backup.
