Monitor Pricing Policy

We will notify the customer if we feel the monitor is not worth repairing or if we cannot get parts.

Most Monitor repair rates are one of the following

Evaluation Fee

Minimum charge - Up to 17 inch is $20 ( above 17 inch $30 ) Warranty is EVAL

Adjustment only fee

Adjustment only -- Up to 17 inch is $35 ( above 17 inch $50 ) includes an evaluation fee plus an adjustment fee. (monochrome monitors have a $5 adjustment fee) Warranty ADJO

Basic repair charge

Basic repair -- Up to 17 inch is $85 ( above 17 inch $95 ) We will proceed with the repair unless the Basic Repair Cost is exceeded. If it is, we will prepare an estimated repair cost quote and notify the customer.

Less than 18 inch monitor

$85 (includes up to $20 worth of parts)

18 inch and larger

$95 plus parts

Repair Policy

We will proceed with the repair unless the the Normal Repair Cost [ $85 ] is exceeded. If it is, we will prepare an estimated repair cost quote and notify the customer.

If the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, or proceeds but the estimated repair cost is exceeded, we offer the following options.

· Pay the Evaluation fee and get the unit back UN-repaired.

· Abandon the unit and NOT have to pay any fee.

· Pay the additional cost to complete the repair.

Unsupported Monitors - The Evaluation Fee will not be waved for monitors found in the unsupported devices list.

Call with estimate

We will proceed with the repair unless the the Normal Repair Cost [ $85 or $95 ] is exceeded. If it is, we will prepare an estimated repair cost quote and notify the customer.

If the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, or proceeds but we offer the following options.

Pay the additional cost to complete the repair.

Pay the Evaluation fee and get the unit back UN-repaired.

Monitor Warranty

Warranty is PL100 or MWX

Warranty "PL100"

With a "Parts and Labor" warranty, only the parts replaced and the time required to re-install them will be covered as warranty for 100 days from the original repair. The customer will be notified of additional charges if replacing the warranted parts does not fix the monitor.

Any assemblies new or exchanged will have a warranty set by the vendor.

Damage caused by improper handling, incorrect installation, abuse, power surge, or damage caused by something being spilled into the device, is not covered by warranty.

Pricing for specific monitors - and - Warranty

Pricing for specific monitors - and - Warranty - can be based on an Time plus parts , or a flat rate , depending on model.

Unsupported Monitors - not found in the supported devices list will be priced at the unsupported rate and have special pricing based on their model and application.
Warranty - Time plus Parts - With a "Time plus parts" (hourly rate) repair, only the parts replaced and the time required to re-install them will be covered.
Warranty - Flat rate mini contract - With a "flat rate " repair, If anything fails in the assembly or printed circuit board we serviced, even if we did not work on that part, we will repair or replace it free for Six Months from the date of the original repair. Some restrictions apply .
Warranty Restrictions
The flat rate mini contract only applies to assemblies for which a "Flat Rate " was quoted. If an assembly was not worked on (ie. the power supply) and it fails it will not be covered.
