Terminal Pricing Policy

Terminal repair rates - Most terminal repair rates are based on a Unit fee plus the cost of sub assembly repair or exchange.
Unit fee - includes CRT alignment and adjustment, it does not include cosmetics, the cathode ray tube, or yoke.
Sub assemblies include; logic board, monitor board, power supply etc.

Example - Wyse 60 unit fee [ $25 ]. Main Printed Circuit Board Assembly repair [ $75]

Call with estimate [ $25 ] - We prepare an estimated repair cost quote for the customer and wait for authorization to continue the repair.
Call if over the normal repair cost. [ $100] - We proceed with the repair unless the the Normal Repair Cost [ $100 ] is exceeded. If it is, we will prepare an estimated repair cost quote and notify the customer.

If the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, or proceeds but the estimated repair cost is exceeded, we offer the following options.
  • Pay the additional cost to complete the repair.
  • Pay the Evaluation fee and get the unit back UN-repaired.
  • Abandon the unit and NOT have to pay any fee. (on some abandoned units, a credit will be given toward the purchase of a new printer)

  • Pricing for specific terminals - can be based on an hourly rate plus parts , or a flat rate , depending on model.
    Terminals not found in the supported devices list will be priced at the unsupported rate.

    Warranty - can be based on an hourly rate plus parts, or a flat rate , depending on model.
    Warranty - Time plus Parts - With a "Time plus parts" (hourly rate) repair, only the parts replaced and the time required to re-install them will be covered as warranty.
    Warranty - Flat rate mini contract - With a "flat rate " repair, If anything fails in the assembly or printed circuit board we serviced, even if we did not work on that part, we will repair or replace it free for Four Months from the date of the original repair. Some restrictions apply .

    Warranty Restrictions - The flat rate mini contract only applies to assemblies for which a "Flat Rate" was quoted. If an assembly was not worked on (ie. the power supply) and it fails it will not be covered.
    Damage caused by improper handling, incorrect installation, abuse, power surge, or damage caused by something being spilled into the device, is not covered by warranty.
